World Cup Mani!

My bff asked me to do a world cup mani so I thought I'd try it out. I used OPI Alpine Snow Matte as the base - needed three coats, and topped with SV to make glossy. I never used this polish before - don't be alarmed as the first coat is real streaky but they get better after each coat!

My bff's fave team is Brazil so I had to include it; used Essie Pretty Edgy. Used Konad special polishes for all stamping, black, red, blue, and Konad IPs 3 and 49 and fauxnad 56.

This Polish is So Bright, You're Gonna Need Shades!

This was my very first time using Konad regular polish and I was not disappointed! Colour is Neon Pink - application was thin and could still see VNL after two coats -if I was to use again-and there will be another time-I will definately use an opaque nude or even a white for some extra coverage.

These pictures don't do the polish justice - it really is so much brighter in real life!

I stamped with Konad white special polish, IP m78. In hindsight, I wish I had of chosen a stamp with a little more edge but hey, another time, another mani!

Do You Like It?

This mani is about half a year after I started taking better care of my nails....not 100% cuticles but much, much better than when I started out...one of these days I may be brave enough to post those jagged cuticles...but I still aspire to greatness to those whose mani's I admire on their blogs!

OPI Do You Lilac This? Great application, great coverage, two coats, no vnl. Stamped with white special polish, plate m64. This kinda has the look of a french manicure but a little funkier...still work appropropriate. As you can see, I still haven't mastered lining up the images on my fingers...but I'm getting there.

After a couple days, i added silver swish...just for variety.

OPI What the Cattitude-Shrek Collex!

My youngest son absolutely loves Shrek...so it was a given I had to buy all of the Shrek collex! This is What the Cattitude, with Konad blue special polish, plate m64. I got lots of compliments when I wore this polish.

After a couple days of wear, I topped it with Piggy Polish Sunshine on Snowflakes! I found this polish at Chatters and was so excited to find as I had been lemming it for some time. Love the sparkle.

My Very First Post!

I'm so excited to finally have opportunity to post on my blog! I started this blog just to keep my personal record of all the different polishes and nail art images, do some polish comparisons and provide some comments in general about polishes and nail art!

I discovered Konad a little over a year ago. Love, Love, Love it! Brings nails to a whole new level! Thennnnn, I discovered polishes.....lets just say I have amassed a very, very very (well you get the picture) large collection of polishes in the last year.

This is my blog, one polish and image plate at a time! Oh, and I'll apologize in advance for any hangnails, the conditional of my cuticles, shape of my nails, etc etc..I never knew how important this was before getting into the polishes and such and over time, and looking up lots of posted advice, they are getting better! I'm sorry if I offend anyone!

This is Essie Watermelon, stamped with Nicole by OPI Positive Energy, fauxand plate no. T33. Positive Energy is one of my favourite silvers to stamp with-metallic and always provides good results!
